Museum visit

Me and my housemates decided to make a little trip to London on my weekend off, just to see museums.
First of, we went to Tate Modern, where I saw some works from Dali, Picasso, Monnet- all artist I am very inspired by, and I've grown up looking at their artworks. So, seeing their painting in real life was a big event for me.

After that, we went to the National Gallery, where I saw a lot of paintings we learned about in Art History class in my university in France. It was also impressive to see them life, also I managed to remember a lot of analyses and information about a number of painting, and as I was talking about it to my friends, a group of people would gather each time, listening about it. I felt like a tour guide, it was a bit funny.

Recently, I've been testing sketching on coloured paper. What I enjoy about it, is drawing the lights with a white pen, which gives much more volume to the sketch.

More sketchbook sneak-peeks 🌸🌸

Close-ups of paintings I find impressive, from my first visit at the National Gallery in London. I particulary enjoyed how the artists have painted shinny and patterned fabrics, rough and extremely detailed at the same time.
