On the Advanced Techniques seminar, Jonathan and me chose to talk about lettering.
Lettering is an important process of the creation of the comic book pages.
We started with an analyse of a few of Mobius' toughts on the subject, being that the words add a lot to the whole look of a page making them complete and dynamic.
After that, we moved on a few details about lettering, such as The Perfect Diamond and the letter "I", explained visually by Chris Oatley.
Then we spoke a bit about font ressources and the industry, and also showed some personal examples.
In conclusion, we think that lettering is an invisible art, only noticed when it is not properly done.
